Updated on 16 November 2018:
Interested in playing golf or played previously and need to tune-up your swing? This program has two components and is tailored just for you:
- *Novice Program for beginners
- *Refresher Program for golfers with some experience, but who want a tune-up
*AGA membership is not required to participate in this program, but new members are always welcome.
The Fall 2018 Program starts on Friday 16 November at 3 p.m. at Sewell’s Point Golf Course with Tom Dozier, PGA Professional, as the teaching coach. The program consists of 5 to 10 group lessons (1.5 hours each) – depending on how much teaching you want – at $20 per person/per lesson.
If you missed the first lesson but still want to join, show up next Friday at 3 p.m. and join the group. We also plan to run a 2019 Spring Program – more information will follow later!
Both theory and practice are included. You will learn the game of golf and rules and etiquette, as well as technique lessons at the driving range, chipping and putting, and ultimately concluding on-course. Golf clubs are available if you don’t have clubs (yet)!
For more information about this program, please contact the Novice Coordinator, Dan St-Cyr at firstname.lastname@example.org or Joergen Hansen-Nord at email@example.com. For membership information, please consult the ‘Join Us’ feature in the Menu Bar above.
